4.1 Google Analytics

4.2 PostHog Analytics

We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how users interact with our calculators and features. PostHog is configured with memory-only persistence, meaning it does not store cookies on your device. Data collected includes page views, calculator usage, and feature interactions. No personally identifiable information is captured through PostHog.

4.3 Resend (Email)

When you provide your email address to receive estimates or updates, we use Resend as our email delivery service. Resend processes your email address solely to deliver the messages you requested. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email footer.

4.4 Affiliate Links

CostFlowAI contains affiliate ("paid") links. When you click certain links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate partners and networks (which may include Amazon Associates; the Impact network and retailers we reach through it, such as Ohio Power Tool and Greenworks; and other retailer programs and networks such as Sovrn Commerce and FlexOffers) may set cookies or append tracking parameters (for example, a unique click identifier) when you click an affiliate link. These are used by the retailer or network to attribute a qualifying purchase to us, and typically persist for a limited attribution window set by that partner. 4.5 Lead Forms and Consent Certification

We use consent certification on our lead forms through TrustedForm (a service of ActiveProspect). When you choose to request contractor quotes, TrustedForm records your interaction with the form — such as the page you visited, form fields, and the time you submitted — to generate an independent consent certificate, and we may share that certificate with the contractor partners you ask us to connect you with, as proof that you requested to be contacted. This applies only to our lead-capture forms, never to the calculators themselves.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do NOT sell your personal information. We may share data only in these limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: We use third-party services to operate CostFlowAI:
  • Google Analytics (traffic analysis, IP anonymization enabled)
  • PostHog (product analytics, no cookies, memory-only persistence)
  • Stripe (payment processing — see Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy)
  • Resend (email delivery)
  • Anthropic (AI Budget Assistant — conversations are not stored)
  • Netlify (hosting)
  • Sanity (blog content management)
  • Affiliate networks (e.g., Sovrn Commerce, Impact, FlexOffers) — via cookies/parameters, to attribute qualifying purchases; see our Affiliate Disclosure
  • ActiveProspect / TrustedForm (consent certification on lead forms — generates the proof-of-consent certificate shared with contractor partners when you request quotes)
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
