Pricing Changelog

Every estimate CostFlowAI produces is stamped with a pricing dataset version (look for v2026.07 in the email footer or results-page badge). When we refresh our cost data we publish a per-calculator change summary here so you can see exactly what moved and why.

Releases

• v2026.07 — Catch-up release — six calculators corrected, with measured before/aftereffective 2026-07-30

  Restores the dataset record after corrections shipped between May and July 2026 without advancing the stamp. Six calculators moved: roofing (pitch factor was missing its square root — had over-ordered 12-41%), foundation-repair, electrical, framing (Quick was ignoring storeys), drywall and flooring. Every magnitude is measured by replaying each engine against a fixed job at the 2026-05-28 baseline and at this release.

• v2026.05 — Pricing accuracy fixes + calculator math closeouteffective 2026-05-16

  Closes the 2026-05-14 deep audit (P0/P1 fixes for 6 HOLD calculators), introduces a pricing-dataset version stamp across emails, PDFs, saved estimates, and share links, and unifies Pro markup defaults at 0/0/0 across all 8 markup-using calculators.

Why this exists

Construction costs move. When ours move, we publish what changed. If you saved an estimate against an older dataset, the saved snapshot is preserved exactly as it was; the headline number on the live calculator will reflect the current dataset. Both are correct for their moment — this page is how you reconcile the two.
